Dresden, Hamburg - 18.05.2017 – KAMA has won the EDP Award 2017 for the “best folding carton solution” with their newly developed FF 52i folder gluer. The German based machine manufacturer had introduced the game-changing folder gluer dedicated to short runs and the digital workflow at drupa 2016. The jury honoured the new development as a save folding carton solution with fully inline inspection of print and finishing.
EDP President Klaus-Peter Nicolay and Herman Hartman, Head of the Technical EDP Commettee, awarded the prize to KAMA at the Ceremony at Fespa 2017 in Hamburg. “We are very proud of the jury’s recognition for our latest development”, said Ruth Isheim, Communications Manager at KAMA. “We have put about three years of development and all our experience with the digital print process from our close cooperation with digital press manufacturers into it.” The European Digital Print Association (EDP) evaluates new products in the European market and honours the best developments in print production tools, software, substrates, inks, materials and finishing systems.
